Welcome to Kalaqaar! By using our app, you agree to the following terms:

1. Roles

• Artists/Technicians: Independent service providers who list their skills.
• Clients/Bookers: Individuals/organizations who book artists.
• Kalaqaar is a marketplace platform, not the employer of artists.

2. Bookings & Payments

• All bookings must be made via the Kalaqaar app.
• Payments are collected upfront and held in escrow until the gig is completed.
• Booking Types:
  • Request to Book → Client sends request, artist accepts/rejects within 48 hours.
  • Instant Booking → Client books instantly, artist is auto-confirmed.

3. Fees

• Clients pay a 5% service fee.
• Artists pay a 15% platform commission.
• GST (18%) applies on service fee/commission.

4. Cancellations & Refunds

Governed by the Refund & Cancellation Policy. Artists enabling Instant Booking must keep calendars accurate; cancellations attract heavier penalties.

5. Credits

• Artists: ₹500 credits for referral sign-ups, ₹100 credits for non-referral sign-ups.
• Clients: ₹250 credits on first booking (always) + ₹500–₹1000 on special promos (min spend applies).
• Credits expire in 12 months, are non-cash, non-transferable.

6. Admin Rights

• Kalaqaar reserves the right to verify, approve, or remove artists.
• Admin decisions (fraud, red flags, disputes) are final.

7. Liability

• Kalaqaar is not liable for the punctuality, performance, or behavior of artists.
• Disputes will be reviewed by Kalaqaar; admin decision is binding.
